What do we mean by innovation?
• Introducing new partnership between ABPI and NHS Confederation, exciting new development
• New medicines are vital for physicians, patients as well as our own industry, but this is only part of the story
• The healthcare system has to reinvent itself to an innovative and effective system, that embraces innovation in working practices as well as
medicines, and embraces best practices to ensure patients benefit
• How do industry and NHS need to change their joint working practices, what will the culture shift look like, how can we embrace innovation in
both ways of working as well as effective adoption of new medicines for the benefit of patients
